About Summetria

We are a limited company based in the UK, founded by Chris Molloy an experienced IT professional, online consultant, interim manager and our Managing Director.  The Company was formed in 1994, as a general trading company specialising IT consulting services and later investing time and resources into the holiday trade. Core revenues during the 90s came from providing  IT project and programme management. Chris pulled away from day to day activities in Summetria during  the late 90s, in pursuit of internet-related ventures.   He now returns to Summetria, full time, as Principle Consultant and MD,  bringing with him broad business sector experience enabling us to share new ideas and methods between clients across different verticals.

Most of our work is in London and the South East.  We will travel around the UK and abroad for meetings, project activities and presentations. We are located in Guildford, Surrey.

We  lead and manage  digital, eCommerce and IT projects and programmes that increase revenues, streamline the business and reduce operational costs. We innovate, we design and build new online products and services and optimise them for your customers and for your business.

We work with business of all shapes and sizes, from Fortune 500 companies with global operations to business start-ups.  We have established relationships with many agencies and suppliers and have extensive experience of leading and managing team comprising partners and internal teams, onshore and offshore.

We cover the full  life-cycle from strategy, planning and  business-case though to launch, marketing and product-development. We will manage projects through design, development, integration, test and launch.

We manage online performance, through digital optimisation, IT performance tuning and  integrating IT and digital solutions into new target operating models for business and operational functions.  Digital optimisation covers onsite and offsite  (website design optimisation, digital marketing, social media).

Core Principles:

Clear Strategy, Planning and Communications:  These activities are pivotal to the successes of digital and eCommerce projects and programmes.  Clear strategy, well defined business case and  meticulous planning and preparation are all central to our approach.

Multi-channel foundation:  We cover all customer channels in our launch and optimisation strategies for digital products and online services, including web and mobile (analytics), social media,  call centre, retail and  CRM.   This is a ‘360° approach’  encompassing all customer channels which we apply across programme and project lifcycles from concept to design, build, delivery and launch to ‘BAU’ performance management.

Design for omni-channel capabilities:   To  surface and leverage actionable data, in real time across all channels requires complex integration of technology and business processes.  We  deliver tools, technology, and new target operating models that provide visibility, control, targeting and transactional capability across all channels.  We will identify the technology and business process dependencies to deliver  data-driven insight for businesses and omni-channel convenience for the customer. We have the experience in shaping the strategy, prioritising road-maps and managing projects to deliver true omni-channel capability for our clients.

Governance, managing change and risk: With a track record of effective leadership and change management resulting in successful delivery, we  are comfortable working at board level. Technically well rounded, we have solid competencies in project programme and risk management gained in consultancies and corporate environments.

Test everything:  From the business case, requirements specifications,  user experience designs,  through to the finished artifacts and builds, releases and solutions prior to launch,  everything must be tested. We are experienced in leading and managing test work-streams for house-hold name brands and online services.

Event and Launch Preparations: We ensure that launch cut-over plans are understood and well executed  technical and operational hand-over, content migration, training.  SLAs,  synchronised with online and offline marketing.  Technical  cut-over to new website and  online self-service will be meticulously planned and rehearsed as necessary to ensure customer traffic and conversion is maintained, or for new services the targeted growth is achieved.

Outsourcing, partner management: We help clients with sourcing strategy, determining which skills and expertise to outsource and which to retain in house. We can manage supplier selection and  procurement.  We are commercially astute with extensive experience in outsourcing, contracts and supplier management and global working.  We  will establish management processes  with external agencies and specialist suppliers  and in-house cross-functional teams, set-up governance  with key stakeholders to deliver projects and programmes.
